Xubuntu with blank screen

My Xubuntu media PC (that's been getting heavy use this week) blanks its screen to black even though I disabled the screen saver. Well, there's an appropriately simple solution: xset s noblank. Ahh, no more cries of "Mommy, please wiggle the mouse!"

    Check the Power Management settings in the Advanced tab. It's probably putting the display to sleep even though it's not blanking.

    Ah! Settings > Power Manager > On A/C > Monitor and there it is! Slightly buried, but now discovered.
